Kertu Viljasoo writes and maintains jalla.biz. She lives in Estonia and writes in Estonian, Russian and English. Three questions Kertu asks of every promotion

1. What is the reward paid in? Cash, bonus money with wagering, free spins with a winnings cap, or points. The same headline can be worth very different amounts depending on this one line.
2. What does it cost to qualify? A minimum stake per spin for a tournament, a qualifying deposit for a reload, a turnover target for a loyalty tier. The cost of qualifying is often larger than the reward.
3. What can take it away? Expiry dates, maximum-win caps, excluded games and payment methods, point decay after inactivity, forfeiture on withdrawal.

If a promotion survives these three questions and still fits the budget you had anyway, it is worth considering. If it only works when you play more than you planned, it is not a good offer for you, whatever its size.

Why three languages
