Jalla payment methods: a guide for players in Estonia

This page does not list "official" minimums, fees or processing times for Jalla, because those numbers belong to the operator and can change by account, country and verification status. What we can do is explain how each type of payment works, what to look for when you open the cashier, and — this being a site about tournaments, loyalty schemes and cashback — which payment choices can quietly affect whether a promotion counts at all.

The set of methods and the limits depend on your account and country of residence — the cashier inside your Jalla account is the only place that shows what applies to you.

Methods worth looking for

Estonian players are used to paying with bank links from their own internet bank, with cards, and with ordinary bank transfers. Around those, many international casinos add e-wallets, prepaid vouchers and crypto. The table below is a checklist, not a promise: tick off what you actually see in your own cashier.

MethodHow it worksWhat to check before using it
Bank link (pangalink: Swedbank, SEB, LHV)You confirm the payment inside your own internet bankWhether it is offered at all, and whether withdrawals go back the same way
Visa / MastercardCard payment confirmed in your bank appWhether the card can also receive withdrawals, or only deposits
Bank transferClassic transfer to or from your IBANReference fields, the name on the account, processing days
SkrillE-wallet between your bank and the casinoWhether e-wallet deposits are excluded from bonus offers
TrustlyPay directly from a bank account via a payment providerWhether the same route is available for payouts
PaysafecardPrepaid voucher codeDeposits only — you will need another route to withdraw
Crypto (BTC and others)Transfer from your own walletNetwork, confirmation count, exchange-rate effect

Why the payment method matters for promotions

Most people choose a payment method for speed or habit. If you plan to take part in reload offers, cashback weeks or tournaments, there is a second question: does the method you use qualify? Promotion terms at many casinos contain a line excluding deposits made with certain e-wallets or prepaid vouchers from bonus eligibility. The reasoning on the operator's side is usually fraud and bonus-abuse prevention; the effect on your side is that a deposit made "the wrong way" may simply not trigger the offer you were counting on.

So before a promotional deposit, open the terms of that particular offer and search for words like "excluded payment methods", "qualifying deposit" or the name of your wallet. If the text is unclear, ask support in writing and keep the answer. That one message is worth more than any list on a third-party site, including this one.

Deposits and withdrawals are two different questions

A method that accepts your money is not automatically a method that can return it. Vouchers are deposit-only by design; some cards accept payouts, some do not; a bank transfer usually works both ways but may be slower. Many operators also follow a "closed loop" rule: winnings go back to the method you deposited with, up to the deposited amount, before anything else is allowed. Details of that rule and of verification are in our withdrawal guide, and the step-by-step deposit flow is in how to deposit.

Tax and licence — one thing to know as an Estonian resident

According to the Estonian Tax and Customs Board (EMTA), winnings from an organiser licensed by EMTA are not subject to income tax, while winnings from an unlicensed organiser are taxable income at 22% and must be declared. EMTA does not separately address organisers licensed in another EEA country, so we make no claim about that case. You can check any operator's company name against EMTA's public list of legal gambling organisers on emta.ee.

A short routine that avoids most payment problems

  1. Verify your identity before the first withdrawal is needed, not after.
  2. Use a method in your own name; third-party cards and wallets are a common reason for a blocked payout.
  3. Read the promo terms for excluded methods before a bonus-linked deposit.
  4. Screenshot the cashier screen showing limits and any fees at the moment you pay.
  5. Set a deposit limit in the account — it is the cheapest protection there is.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum deposit at Jalla?
We do not publish a figure because it is set by the operator and can differ by method and account. The cashier shows the minimum next to each method before you confirm the payment.
Can I deposit with a bank link from Swedbank, SEB or LHV?
Bank links are a common method in Estonia, but whether Jalla offers them to your account is visible only in the cashier. Treat it as something to look for, not a given.
Do all deposits count for bonuses and cashback?
Not necessarily. Promotion terms can exclude certain e-wallets or vouchers. Check the terms of the specific offer before you deposit.
Are Jalla payouts taxed in Estonia?
EMTA says winnings from an EMTA-licensed organiser are tax-free, and winnings from an unlicensed organiser are taxable at 22%. For organisers licensed elsewhere in the EEA, EMTA gives no separate guidance, so we do not state a rule.
