General bonus terms: the rules above every offer
Each promotion has its own terms, but most casinos also publish general bonus terms that apply to all of them. Many clauses that decide whether you keep a reward live there, not in the offer. "Irregular play" in plain language
Most general terms reserve the right to cancel bonuses for irregular play: betting on opposite outcomes, switching to minimum-risk bets to clear wagering, sudden changes in stake size, playing excluded games. These clauses exist to stop systematic exploitation, but their wording can be broad. Playing normally within the stated limits is the simplest way to stay clear of them.
How terms change

Terms and tournaments
Tournament rules usually refer back to the general terms for disputes, abuse and prize payment. Look for tie-breaks and what happens if a game malfunctions during the tournament.
A reading plan
- Read the general bonus terms once and note the clauses above.
- For each new offer, read only what differs: size, wagering, games, time.
- Keep a copy of what you opted into.
Hypothetical example, not a Jalla offer: if the general terms say "one active bonus at a time", accepting a Friday reload may mean a free-spin drop on Saturday cannot be credited until the reload is finished — a trade-off to decide on Friday.
Terms and responsible gambling tools
General terms usually explain what happens to bonuses if you set a time-out or self-exclude: active bonuses are commonly forfeited. That is not a reason to postpone a break.
