Basketball betting: markets, rules and promo fit

Overtime usually counts
Unlike most football markets, basketball bets are usually settled including overtime. A total of points that was "under" at the end of regulation can go "over" in overtime. Read the rules for the market to be sure — quarter and half markets are an exception by definition.
Live lines move fast
Scoring is frequent, so live odds change constantly and bets may be rejected or re-priced. Fast markets make it easy to place many small bets in a short time. Decide your number of live bets before tip-off.
Reading a totals line
A total of, say, 160.5 points means the bookmaker expects a combined score close to that figure; the half point removes the possibility of a push. Totals react to pace, injuries and rotation, and late team news can move them sharply. If you bet totals, check the line again shortly before the start rather than relying on an early price. Hypothetical example: backing "over 160.5" at 1.90 for 10 € returns 19 € if the teams score 161 or more, and nothing if they score 160 or fewer.
Basketball and promotions
If a sports bonus is available, check whether spreads and totals at typical odds around 1.90 meet its minimum odds. Loyalty programmes may award points for sports bets at a different rate from casino play, or not at all. Casino tournaments and slot cashback usually ignore basketball bets entirely.
