Bitcoin at Jalla: slower to confirm, faster to misjudge
Bitcoin is the best-known cryptocurrency and, where an operator supports it, a way to pay without a bank in the middle. It also has a few properties that matter more at a casino than in a normal purchase: confirmations take time, the price moves while you wait, and a transfer cannot be reversed. A Bitcoin transaction is credited after the network confirms it a certain number of times. How many confirmations the operator requires is its own setting. During busy periods confirmations can take longer and network fees rise. If you are depositing to join a tournament before a deadline, do not leave it to the last minutes.
Price movement and euro thresholds
If your casino balance is in euros, the amount credited depends on the rate at the moment of conversion. Hypothetical example, not an offer: if a reload needs a qualifying deposit of 50 € and you send Bitcoin worth exactly 50 € at the time of sending, a small price drop before crediting could leave you just below the threshold. Send with a margin, and check the credited euro figure before assuming an offer is active.
Bitcoin and promotions
Crypto deposits are treated differently by different operators — some include them in all offers, some exclude them from certain bonuses. For cashback, check whether losses from crypto-funded play count. Tax reminder
For Estonian residents, EMTA's rule on winnings depends on who the organiser is, not on how you paid: winnings from an EMTA-licensed organiser are not taxed; from an unlicensed organiser they are taxable at 22% and must be declared.
