How to deposit at Jalla without losing a promotion on the way
Making a deposit is technically simple: choose a method, type an amount, confirm in your bank or wallet. The part that goes wrong is usually the part before that — not realising that an offer needed an opt-in, a code, or a qualifying method. This guide walks through the deposit in the order we recommend, with the promotion checks placed where they actually matter.
The set of methods and the limits depend on your account and country of residence — the cashier inside your Jalla account is the only place that shows what applies to you.
Step 1: finish your account basics
Before any money moves, make sure your profile details match your identity documents. Residents of Estonia usually prove who they are with an ID card, Smart-ID or Mobile-ID; whether Jalla accepts a particular form of verification is something to check in the account itself. Mismatched names or addresses are the most common reason a later withdrawal stalls, and fixing them afterwards takes longer than getting them right now.
Step 2: set a deposit limit
Do this before the first payment, when you are calm and have not played yet. A daily, weekly or monthly limit is standard in responsible-gambling tools. Lowering it usually takes effect immediately; raising it normally comes with a waiting period — that asymmetry is deliberate and works in your favour. More about limits on our self-exclusion and limits page.
Step 3: decide whether this deposit should trigger an offer
This is the step most players skip. If a reload bonus, a free-spin drop or a tournament entry depends on the deposit, open that offer's terms and check four things:
- Opt-in: do you need to press a button, tick a box or enter a code before paying?
- Qualifying amount: is there a minimum for the offer, which may be higher than the cashier minimum?
- Qualifying methods: are any wallets or vouchers excluded?
- Timing: does the offer run only on certain days or within a set window?
If you do not want a bonus at all — which is a perfectly rational choice, since bonus money usually comes with wagering — look for an option to decline it before confirming. Our wagering guide explains why declining can be the better deal.
Step 4: choose the method and pay
Open the cashier, pick a method in your own name and enter the amount. For a bank link or card you will confirm the payment in your bank app. For crypto you will be shown an address and network — send exactly on that network, because a transfer on the wrong one may be lost. Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen showing amount, method and time.
Step 5: check that the balance and the offer appeared
Once the money lands, look at two places: your balance, and the promotions or bonus section of your account. If the offer should be active and is not, contact support right away, before you start playing — once you have wagered the deposit, it becomes much harder to argue that the bonus should have been applied.

Common mistakes
- Depositing first and reading the promo terms later.
- Using a partner's card — payouts can be refused when the payer is not the account holder.
- Sending crypto on a different network from the one displayed.
- Topping up repeatedly in one session to "reach" a tournament position — set the budget before the session starts.
